A Day in With Dr. Davinder Bhela in Restore Podiatry
Hi, everyone! Dr. Bhela here. Today, I want to take you through what my typical day looks like. From tendon issues to foot pain, we cover a lot of foot issues, so let’s jump right in.
Shockwave Therapy For Tendinopathies And Tendinitis
I usually start the day with shockwave therapy for patients dealing with tendinopathies and tendinitis. This treatment is great for relieving tendon pain and speeding up the healing process, especially for those who are really struggling with discomfort.
Reviewing X-Rays With The Patient
Next, we move on to X-rays. We take detailed images of the foot to determine the exact root cause behind the pain.
Gait Analysis And Walking Evaluation
But we don’t stop there—gait analysis and walking evaluations are also crucial part of our analysis. By observing how patients walk, we can figure out if their movement is contributing to the problem.
Once the x-ray results are ready, I review them with the patient. This is an important step. It’s all about understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and coming up with the right treatment plan for every patient.
Laser Treatment For Toenail Fungus
From there, we move to laser treatments. First up is laser therapy for toenail fungus—quick, simple, and effective.
Laser Therapy For Neuropathy
Then, we move ahead to address neuropathy. Laser therapy for neuropathy works wonders for reducing nerve pain and promoting healing.
Fitting Insoles In Shoes
I also help patients by fitting custom insoles into their shoes. This can make a huge difference in comfort, especially for those who are on their feet all day.
Laser Treatment For Foot Ankle Arthritis and Plantar Fasciitis
As we move through the day, more laser treatments follow—this time for foot and ankle arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and even heel spurs.
These treatments target pain and inflammation, helping my patients get back to their daily lives without constant discomfort.
Wrapping Up…
So, that’s a typical day here at the clinic! If you’re dealing with any of these issues, give us a call—we’re here to help. Remember, taking care of your feet is key to staying healthy and active. Take care, and I’ll see you soon!
