Custom 3D Printed Orthotics Long Island

The future is HERE. Long Island’s First and Only 3D Printed Orthotics.

Meet the Custom 3D-Printed Orthotics

Here at Restore Podiatry & Laser Center, we are on the cutting edge of technology as the only podiatry clinic in Long Island to offer custom 3D Printed Orthotics, and we were also the first clinic in New York to use this new technology.

3D orthotics are medical devices that are worn inside of your shoes to correct biomechanical foot issues that affect the way you walk, run, or stand.

These orthotics are effective in treating pain caused by medical conditions such as heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, heel spurs, flat feet, and overpronation. 3D Printed Orthotics have also been successful in alleviating knee pain and lower back pain that may not have been otherwise corrected with epidural injection or other treatment options.

3D Orthotics have set a new standard in treatment, pain relief, and comfort, and they widely vary from over the counter and standard orthotics for feet.

Every 3D Printed Orthotic is created from start to finish with the individual patient in mind and their lattice-design helps our Podiatrist, to design a device that offers a level of precision and comfort impossible to find in standard “old” orthotic options. Our 3D Orthotics are thin and light-weight, so they comfortably fit in most footwear and don’t have the bulkiness of the standard over the counter options.

Benefits Of 3D Orthotics

Unlike other types of orthotics, 3D custom orthotics are one of a kind and 100% for you! No pre-made products or guesswork. Some of the main advantages of 3D orthotics include:

If everybody’s feet are different in size and shape, why should their orthotics be the same?

And that’s precisely what’s wrong with your regular, traditional orthotics. They don’t take individual anatomy into account. The problem isn’t so much in their design as in how they are made. Doctors typically don’t measure their patients’ feet in motion and design orthotics that flex and adjust themselves as they move.

We set out to change that.

With our 3D-printed custom orthotics that are customized to the shape of your foot and the way you move, step, and run, we are redefining what orthotics can do for you.

  • Precise Fitting

At Restore Podiatry & Laser Center in Long Island, we use state of the art HP software for 3D scanning, creating the most precise fit, and eliminating ill-fitting orthotics that could be caused by manufacturing errors and generic molds.

  • Versatile

Gone are the days of having to purchase multiple types of orthotics to accommodate various settings and activities. 3D printing has eliminated that need. These thin and lightweight medical devices are optimized for every activity.

Your custom orthotics will feel just as comfortable in a pair of running shoes as they do in a pair of dress or safety shoes. The lattice design once again allows for optimized function in each part of the foot, whether you’re walking, running, or playing sports.

  • Lightweight and comfortable

Standard orthotics are generally bulkier and a bit heavier than the more streamlined and featherweight 3D printed orthotics, and they are also generally less compatible for use with various kinds of footwear.

On the other hand, the technology used to create 3D foot orthotics at our health care clinic in Barrie, allow us to provide you with the perfect amount of flexibility, stiffness, and support without the bulk and weight.

  • Satisfaction Guaranteed

All of the 3D printed orthotics at our clinic in Long Island are backed by a satisfaction and comfort guarantee for 90 Days. If you are not 100% satisfied with the fit and feel of the finished product. We are happy to make any necessary adjustments to ensure you walk away from our Restore Podiatry happy and pain-free!

Dynamic Gait Analysis

At the heart of our custom orthotics is our dynamic gait analysis technology, which helps us understand how your feet move and what they need to perform at their best. By analyzing your gait in real-time, we can create orthotics that feel great and help improve your overall gait performance and reduce the risk of injury.

So whether you are an athlete, a hiker, an office worker, or a factory worker looking to optimize your performance, or you simply want to feel more comfortable and supported on your feet without pain, our custom orthotics have you covered.

Scan, Walk, and Print

All our corrective insoles are 3D-printed to perfection using the latest dynamic gait analysis, 3D scanning, and 3D-printing technology. Gone are the days of clunky, generic foot inserts that don’t provide the support you need. With our cutting-edge orthotics, you’ll experience the ultimate in comfort and function.

The process is as easy as 1-2-3.

An innovative 3D-printed custom honeycomb lattice design creates the perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility for each individual part of your foot, providing optimal function without the bulkiness of other orthotics on the market. The lattice design of our 3D-printed orthotics means we can give you all the support, stiffness, and flexibility you need—without weighing you down or taking up too much space in your shoes.
You are now ready to enjoy stunning relief from your foot pain, along with increased comfort and without compromising on flexibility and mobility!

Why 3D Printed Custom Orthotics?

For areas of the foot where more biomechanical control is needed, the 3D printer fills the lattice-spaces of the orthotic without making it thicker or heavier. It the foot requires a mixture of more or less support or flexibility at various points, 3D printing can accommodate. The thickness of the lattice framework is easily adjusted to meet your individual needs using state of the art HP 3D printing technology.

The Award-Winning 3D Custom Orthotic expert at our clinic in Long Island have made it their mission to eradicate foot pain and discomfort, allowing you to live an active and healthy lifestyle.

Simple impressions made of plaster or foam boxes or simple 2D scanning are both prone to mistakes in casting and manufacturing. This is never a risk with 3D scanning. With this new technology, 3D custom orthotics can be made to fit the contours of any patient’s feet and are extremely durable. The gait plate further helps our team know exactly how much pressure is distributed and where. The way you stand, walk, and balance is all converted into accurate data at every single stage of your gait cycle.

There are numerous benefits to using 3D-printed custom orthotics:

  • These insoles are extremely durable and suitable for use in sports.
  • They are designed specifically for different sports and shoe types.
  • 3D-printed custom orthotics are minimal in bulk and lightweight.
  • Alleviates foot pain and reduces foot fatigue and discomfort during physical activity.

  • The static protocol records the displacement of the feet’s center of pressure over time.
  • It also displays the roll-off of the foot, including the dynamic center of pressure, peak pressure areas, and foot contact timings.
  • The dynamic scan 3D shows the peak pressure areas during the foot roll-off.
  • The 3D-printing process allows for a precise, customized fit that addresses the unique needs of each individual’s feet.
